RETHINKING MUSIC EDUCATION
We believe that learning music using digital tools can improve students attitude towards music education process itself. The program connects theory with practice, corresponds to the STEAM approach and allows students to see the application of academic knowledge IN REAL TIME. The program is designed from the 7th grade up AND CORRESPONDS WITH THE CONTENT FROM THE GOVERNEMENT EDUCATION GUIDELINES. Currently Latvia has more than 20 schools that are using digital tools for music education and we are ready to share our success story with the world.
CONSTELLATION CLASS is a methodolicial initiative of a Latvian musician Agnese Rakovska, that offers children and young people a modern aproach on music education in general education system that is more practical and engaging.

HOW DO WE IMPLEMENT THE METHOD
1. DIGITAL RECRDING STATION that will be placed in a music classroom and consists of more that 20 parts and elements. Some of the brands are Latvian - for example Bullfrog -an analog synth from a latvian brand Erica SYNTH that explores sound physics. The station is well designed with the help of industry experts and each part is selected to serve its purpose in the most efficient way possible.
The digital recording station that consists of more that 20 different tools and parts - midi controlers, midi flute, analog synth and microphone.
2. THE MUSIC TEACHER, that has to be educated and needs to have the expertise so he can navigate the work with station during his music lessons. The 36 HOUR COURSE for teacher is led by professional mentors in Latvia - we are training teachers to work with digital technologies in the most engaging way possible as well as we provide a 6 day culture experience and full travel service to Riga.
