Why is it necessary?

We believe that learning music using digital tools can improve students attitude towards music education process itself. The program connects theory with practice, corresponds to the STEAM approach and allows students to see the application of academic knowledge IN REAL TIME. The program is designed from the 7th grade up AND CORRESPONDS WITH THE CONTENT FROM THE GOVERNEMENT EDUCATION GUIDELINES. Currently Latvia has more than 20 schools that are using digital tools for music education and we are ready to share our success story with the world.
The Constellation Class is an initiative of the musician Agnese Rakovska, a project that gives children and young people in schools the opportunity to learn the process of creating music in a modern interpretation, using modern methodology and music production equipment, which positively affects the attitude of children and young people towards music lessons. The teaching methods offered by the Constellation Class give the opportunity to practically learn the theoretical questions included in the curriculum of the Ministry of Education and Science (MES) subject (music), allowing the student to see the application of academic knowledge in real life. Considerably demonstrating the connection between theory and practice.
We have found the way how to improve student engagement and modernize music teaching methods. The world is changing- as the philosopher Sir Ken Robinson once said, 'Creativity now is as important in education as literacy, and we should treat it with the same status.' Let’s empower the next generation to create, innovate, and lead."— Agnese Rakovska, CEO
